Our Projects

Calico Cutters Quilt Guild is honored to participate in many charitable activities. Reaching out to those in need is at the core of our quilting fellowship.

Members are asked to contribute to two projects on a regular basis:

    American Soldier quilts - (see details on page below)

    Domestic Violence Center of Chester County - "Kids Quilts" (see details on page           below)

Current Monthly Projects:  

In April we will be donating to the VA Hospital. Items we will collect include: New underwear for men and women, new socks and t-shirts for men and women, coffee, cookies, sugar free cookies.  Store cards:  Wal-Mart, K-mart, Target.

In May we will be collecting for Baby Bundles.  The bundles are given to needy mothers at Jennersville Regional Hospital. Items: blanket (purchased or handmade), onesies, baby shampoo/soap, baby wipes. Please do not send baby powder. It is not accepted by the hospital. These moms are generally of Hispanic decent and are in the area as migrant workers or are married to migrant workers. They have very limited resources.
