Our Meetings

Meetings are held monthly on the second Wednesday of each month, beginning at 9:30 A.M. Guests are always welcome. Our guest fee is $5.00.

Our meetings are held at the Fame Fire Hall in West Chester, located at the corner of Matlack Street and Rosedale Avenue at 200 East Rosedale Avenue. Matlack Steet is easily accessible from Route 202.

There is overflow parking located directly across the street in a lot owned by West Chester University. To park in the WCU lot you will need a parking sign to place on your dashboard. Extra parking signs are located in the rear lobby of the firehouse adjacent to the parking lot. You MUST display one of these signs or you will be subject to towing, reagardless of the status of classes at the University.

Meetings begin with our highly acclaimed "Show and Tell"  where members and guests are welcome to share their quilted creations. Following Show and Tell, the raffle is drawn for fat quarters and block of the month, both of which have monthly themes. After a short snack break we have a featured speaker or special progam.

Calico Cutters is fortunate to have a schedule of incredible speakers throughout the year.  In addition to our second Wednesday of the month programs, Calico Cutters often hosts workshops with visiting speakers on either the day prior or the day after our regular meeting.  On very rare occasions a meeting may be rescheduled to accomodate a speaker, so please be sure to confirm the meeting date if you are attending as a guest.  The webiste will reflect the most current information.
